Welcome to all returning and new high school players. We are looking forward to an exciting season filled with sportsmanship, teamwork and fun! Please find information for the 2022 Spring Season below. Email with questions.

High School Program (9-12 Grades)

High School Tryouts: Monday-Wednesday, February 28-March 2. Players must attend all three tryout days - they count towards practices and are required in order to participate in games.

Season Dates: February 28-May TBD

Practice Schedule: Practice Time 6-8pm @ MIHS playing fields. Occasionally practice in the later (7:30-9:30pm) or earlier (3:30-5:30pm) slots depending on field availability. Varsity players will practice or play games on Saturdays throughout the season, please plan accordingly.*

Fee: $300 (this fee is in addition to the $250 ASB fee each player has to pay to Mercer Island High School)

Key Dates:

February 28th - 1st official day of our season. Tryout Day 1 (mandatory for all playing spring lacrosse, as tryouts count as practices) 

February 28-March 2nd - MIGLAX tryouts, 6-8pm, @ MIHS stadium turf 

March 3rd - first regular day of practices (6-8pm, MIHS stadium turf)

March 7th - Spring Sports Meeting for parents

March 12/13 - Pre season HS jamboree (Varsity only) 

March 14th - Official games begin 

*No practices or games over spring break

JV and Varsity game schedules are live at (there will be some minor changes over the next 2 weeks)

All players, both JV and Varsity, are expected to attend every practice and game (unless of a family emergency, they are sick and/or in quarantine).

Players should come equip to practice daily w/ the following items:

-Stick, goggles & mouthguard 

-Water bottle (no sharing)

-Reversible pinnie (provided by MIGLAX on day 1) 

-Cleats AND sneakers 

-Weather appropriate layers 

REQUIRED: All players must read, sign and return the MIGLAX Attendance, Injury and Player Expectation Policy on the first day of tryouts.


An Eligibility Packet MUST be on file with the MIHS Athletic Office before you may participate in the Spring Season. If you participated in a MIHS fall and/or winter sport, you only need to submit a Signature Page Form and a Lacrosse Informed Consent Letter.
