2022 SPRING SEASON - REGISTER HERE
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROGRAM INFORMATION Kindergarten, 8U + 10U (Grades 1-2 and 3-4)

 

Welcome to the Mercer Island Elementary School program for players in grades K-4 (note: 5th graders play in our Middle School program). Our goal is to practice and develop play; improve hand-eye coordination, footwork, shooting skills; advance cardiovascular and lacrosse fitness in a supportive group setting for enhanced mental and physical health. Please find information for the 2022 Spring Season programs offered including age/division breakdown, practice schedule, registration and games listed below. Limited financial need scholarships are accepted. Email migirlslax@gmail.com with questions.


Kindergarten Register Here

Dates: Practices will be held on Mondays from 5-6pm, 3/28-5/31. Games will begin the weekend of 4/23. K's will have one game per weekend on Saturday or Sunday until the weekend of 6/4. No games or practices over Memorial Day weekend or Spring Break.

Time: Mondays, 5-6pm

Games: 4/23-6/5, one game or scrimmage per weekend

Location: TBD

Fee: $200

Coaches: Our players will be coached by a combination of MIGLAX adult coaches, parent volunteers (please email gillis.lyndsey@gmail.com if you are interested in coaching) and MIHS Varsity and JV players.

8U Division (1st/2nd Grades)Register Here

Dates: Practices will be held on Mondays from 4:30-6pm, 3/28-5/31. 8U Games will begin the weekend of 4/23. Teams will have one game per weekend on Saturday or Sunday until the weekend of 6/4. The end of the season will culminate at End of Season Jamboree at Starfire on 6/4 or 6/5. No games or practices over Memorial Day weekend or Spring Break.

Games: 4/23-6/5, one game or scrimmage per weekend; End of Season Jamboree on 6/4 or 6/5 at Starfire in Tukwila.

10U Division (3rd/4th Grades)Register Here

Dates: Practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-6pm, 3/8-6/2. 10U Games will begin the weekend of 3/26. Teams will have one game per weekend on Saturday or Sunday until the weekend of 6/4. The end of the season will culminate at End of Season Jamboree at Starfire on 6/4 or 6/5. No games or practices over Memorial Day weekend or Spring Break.

Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30-6pm

Games: 3/26-6/5, one game or scrimmage per weekend; End of Season Jamboree on 6/4 or 6/5 at Starfire in Tukwila.

Location: IMS Grass Fields

Fee: $325

Coaches: Our players will be coached by a combination of MIGLAX adult coaches, parent volunteers (please email gillis.lyndsey@gmail.com if you are interested in coaching) and MIHS Varsity and JV players.


All players should wear cleats, dress for the weather (rain or shine) and bring the following to each session (there will be no sharing of equipment of any kind): 

·       Waterbottle

·       Eye Gear

·       Stick

·       Mouthguard

·       Mask

Refund Policy:

Refunds of MIGLAX registration fees will only be granted in the event of a change in the status of the player. Possible reasons for granting a refund include a change in the player’s health, a change of address, a change in family status, or similar consideration.

The amount of refunds granted will be determined as follows: 

  • On or prior to program start date, 100% of the total registration fee, less $15 to cover administration fees.
  • After program start date, no refunds will be granted except for a change in the player’s health preventing that player from practicing or playing with the team or if the family is moving off Mercer Island. The amount of the refund will be pro-rated based on the length of the season remaining and will in no event exceed 50% of the registration fee, less $15 to cover administration fees.
